Automn Orgues Quoirin has restored the organ case of the positif of the organ of Notre-Dame-de-Paris, made by François-Henri Cliquot in 1783. It was removed in 1868 by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll because it did not fit into the new design of the organ gallery by Viollet le Duc. There are no plans to reinstall the positif on its original place. It has been installed in the hall of the south tower, above the original console of Cavaillé-Coll, which was placed there years ago.
