Denis Lacorre (*1966) developed an early passion for music and sound. He learned the piano and then discovered the harpsichord and organ. After higher studies in physics and electronics, he devoted himself definitively to organ building, first at the schools of Messrs. Philippe Hartmann and Jean Renaud, then from the year 2000 within his own company. The company specialises in the construction of nineteenth-century French organs, mainly those of Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. It also restores or builds instruments from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries inspired by the French romantic tradition.
